A big day for Avaine

Today I’m going to Josh’s to record vocals for a new demo.  It’s been sitting there, pretty much ready to go, for so long, but because of my illness I haven’t felt comfortable recording vocals.

That is until recently.  I’ve been working hard, and for the past couple of days I’ve been good with my treatments, so I think I’m ready.  I can already tell I’ll be clearing my throat a lot though.  As much as I’ve done my treatments, all the gunk is moving, and it’s going to get in the way while singing.  I may have to do it line by line, but it’ll get done, and it beats leaving it in there to damage my lungs.

For those of you who don’t follow my band, we’ve also got something fairly huge to announce later today.  But for now, back to my coffee and my book, and my ultra glamorous life.
